The Myspace Interview Challenge.... 15 generic questions to all our myspace 'friends' but everyone with very different answers. Now there's the Doncaster Interview Challenge which is the same except for a couple of extra questions and open only to bands from our home town.
Hi and welcome from ‘the myspace interview challenge’. We had this great idea in about October 2007 while browsing myspace one day, hey why not try send all these people some questions and see who replies.
So we had a think and came up with 15 generic questions which we sent out to all the bands and musical artists on our myspace 'friends' list. Everyone gets the same questions no matter whether it's a unsigned solo artist writing their first few songs to somebody of the ilk of Coldplay.
What we want to know is:
a, Who actually looks at their myspace page!
b, Who will actually be bothered to spend their time responding to messages posted on their myspace page.
c, Who will answer the questions honestly
d, How will the responses differ
The response has been bigger than we could have imagined, so good we got well over 50 replies. Always the same questions but always very different answers. All are still online take a look below...
After the orginal rush of the myspace interview challenge calmed we then came up with a bit of a spin on the concept... The Doncaster Interview Challenge, a few more questions just for Donny bands. So good it was we even joined in, check it out below...

Here now as the myspace interview challenge rides again, with some new questions.

Q2, What’s your myspace page called? What do you think myspace has to offer bands & artists? How many friends have you got (it is a competition you know!) and how many are actual friends?
Q3, Why should somebody add you as their ‘friend’ and what does it take for you to ‘deny’ somebody as a friend?
Q4, If you had to pick a musical genre in which to pigeon hole yourself which one would you go for?
Q5, What is you favourite song you’ve written & why? What song would you have loved to have written?
Q6, What song gets you dancing every time & why?
Q7, What is the most embarrassing song in your collection and why did you buy / download it … please be very honest!
Q8, What was the last song you listened to and why?
Q9, Can you list your five favourite songs of all time and if so what are they?
Q10, If you had to form a tribute band, which band would you chose and why? Who would you be & does that say anything about you?
Q11, Do you do gigs? If so how would you describe your live experience?
Q12, What would make the perfect gig for you?
Q13, Where’s you favourite place in the world and what does it say about you?
Q14, What’s the best and worst thing you’ve ever seen written about you?
Q15, In ten words write your own press release (swearing is definitely allowed!)…
